SVD.PET pet training mat provides three modes: Static Mode, Beep Mode, Static+Beep Mode. Place the training mat where your pet is not welcomed - on the couch or the counter. When your pet steps on the training mat, it will emit a harmless static pulse or a high-frequency beep so your fur baby knows the area is off limits. For sound sensitive pets or small pets, start with the Beep mode. In this mode, set the intensity level at 4 or 5. As your pet starts to learn the area is off limits, you can begin to decrease the intensity until your pet is fully trained. If your pet doesn’t respond to the Beep mode, switch to the Static + Beep mode. 5 intensity levels static pulse will be optional according to sensitivity of different pet. Starting with a lower lever and increasing the level only when it is needed. As your pet starts to learn the area is off limits, you can begin to decrease the intensity and switch to “Beep Mode”. If you don't want to be disturbed by the high frequency beep sound, you can switch the training mat to static mode. In this mode, the training mat will only emit static pulse. We upgraded our product by reducing the spacing between detection lines from 25mm to 20mm to enhance precision. Static mode automatically deactivates if your pet remains on the mat for over 10 seconds. Effortlessly store the training mat by simply rolling it up and tucking it away into a drawer when not in use. Maintain your training mat effortlessly by wiping it with a damp cloth. Ensure no liquid or dirt is present on or under the mat. Align the electrical terminals on the back of the controller with the holes on the mat. Ensure the controller is on the upside of the mat. Insert and tighter the two screws through the back of the mat. Screws and the screwdriver are included in the package. Remove the battery cover and insert a 9V battery in the controller.
