The spacers help to minimize drag on your bearings, making your bearings spin smoothly. They also help your bearings from collapsing. The balls run in deep-grove race ways, and are retained by a self-lubricating Delrin crown. Each bearing feature dual rubber shields(seals) to protect the bearing from dust and other contaminates. The shields also make this bearing completely serviceable. First you need to place the first bearing into the wheel, use your inline star tool to help you. Than you want to place the stepped spacer inside of the wheel, as shown above. After you have placed the stepped spacer inside the wheel you want to use the inline star tool to help you press in the other bearing. Than you want to line up you wheel with the holes on the roller blade and slide the axle through. Once you get the axle through you can screw the axle nut onto the axle. Use your inline star tool to help you get it tight
