Lock your front foot into place with this grippy EVA foam (trim to custom shape if you want). Front traction pads pair perfectly with our rear traction pads, if you have those already. Remove any wax from your surfboard. Leave it in the sun so the wax starts to melt, then scrape it off. The deck needs to be perfectly clean, otherwise the traction pad won’t stick properly. (surfboard wax remover IS NOT recommended, it's oily) Remove any residue with acetone or similar product. Lay out the pieces and trace the outline onto your surf board to find the perfect position before sticking the pads permanently. Stand next to your board to determine where to put the front traction. Peel off the backing on the pads, line them up with what you traced, and carefully press them onto your surfboard. Press firmly all over the pads, to make sure they adhere to the surfboard. Can I use these pads with a soft top surfboard? For sure! These can be used with Ho Stevie! or any other brand of soft top surfboards. But sometimes the traction pad doesn't adhere perfectly to the foam. You might need to use superglue if you see your traction pad peeling off. Are these suitable for wake surf boards? Yes our front traction pads can be used for wakesurf boards, and skimboards too. We've also seen our traction pads getting popular with the OneWheel community.
