The Fusion Optimus Rope Grab is a single directional friction device. Used for ascending, mechanical advantage, and rescue situations. Our rope grab has a strong construction with a safe working load of 25 KN or 5,625 Pounds of force. Ideal for 3 strand ropes and has a 1” eyelet to attach gear Accompanied with dual camming plates, our rope grab provides a secure pressure on the rope without damaging the rope itself. The dual camming plates come with two rows of teeth on each plate set to ensure that there is no chance of that rope slipping through with each bite without fail each time. For ascending or mechanical advantage applications, our rope grab is engineered for a comfortable and sure grip handle that includes an engraved grid pattern where the thumb rests to slide the rope grab smoothly. The 1” eyelet that comes with our rope grab work as a great connection point to yourself or to an anchor point and works great when you need to use 3:1 Or greater mechanical advantage.
