Its helpful to wash the sponge gently with water from the fish tank instead of tap water. It is good to replace the sponge after 3 to 6 months usage as the holes of sponge is gradually clogged by the tiny debris. Great for tanks up to 55Gal. Double sponge which is 2.4 inches in diameter and 4.7 inches in height. The air chamber produces tiny bubbles which increase the oxygen solubility of water. Air Pump Not Included.
